Techno is genre of electronic dance music used more for creative expression and exploration than dance. Techno broadens the horizons of EDM, experimenting, collating and infusing to create new vision. Many of these creations are remixed into dance tracks. Techno artist and DJ’S continue to broaden electronic music with a variety of sounds and these are some of the best techno beats this 2017.
Lonely Together – Avicii feat. Rita Ora
This is from his AVICI (01) EP released in August, one of the best EDM DJ’s this century teams up with Rita Ora for this mellow track.
Would You Ever – Skrillex Feat Poo Bear
This is an amazing song from part of the two people who brought you “Where R U NOW”
First Time – Kygo and Elli Goulding
The soulful voice of Elli Goulding is again on display in this chilled out track. The video is just the right amount of weird.
Without U – Steve Aoki feat DVBSS and 2Chainz
Remember when we said creating a new vision, Steve Aoki linked up with DVBBS and Trap Lord 2Chainz to create a techno trap dubstep hit.
Something Just Like This – Chainsmoker and Coldplay
Another big fusion to create what can only be described as good music. The Chainsmokers come through with their signature beats and Coldplay add that extra sauce to make this a great EDM collaboration.
You Could Be – R3HAB Feat Khrebto
This is an electronic bop served up by the talented Dutch DJ and topped up by superb vocals by Khrebto.
Know No Better – Major Lazer featuring Travis Scott, Camila Cabello and Quavo
This song from Major Lazer’s surprise EP in June has been a summer hit this year and for good reason with the star-studded lineup. If you listen you can hear everyone’s signature adlib in between Camila Cabello’s beautiful vocals.
Another Life – Afrojack and David Guetta Featuring Esther Dean
When three of the most consistent hit makers work together you know it’s going to be a good song. The video is also futuristic to boot, the essence of electronic music. It is another classic.
Byte – Martin Garrix and Brooks
Super producer, super jam enough said.
